Baby Names and Parenting

Naming babies is a favorite pastime of soon to be parents. Some opt for popular names, others for unusual names, others search deep into their family history and honor a favorite aunt, uncle, grandparent or distant ancestor by endowing their new child with a family name. Others look to famous people from the past or from current events; but does it really matter?

The child's name can have a huge impact on how they are treated and the expectations others have for him or her.   Click below to read just some of the reported research and articles.
